Holy crap, Persona 3’s coming out for PSP! I can’t wait~!

The story of Persona 3 is quite good. It’s about a mysterious 25thhour that occurs every night, at the stroke of midnight. The Dark Hour is only known to those that possess a Persona, an almost tangible aspect of one’s personality. Everybody else becomes a coffin during that time. A group of high school students, known as SEES, investigates this mysterious hour, climbing a giant tower, Tartarus, that forms from beneath their school, hoping to find the answers to their many questions. Persona 3 Portable includes a new playable female character, with a modified storyline, and a lot of other improvements.

It kind of reminds me a bit of Evangelion. For example, there are a certain number of celestial beings, Shadows, of which the main characters have to destroy. There’re a few scenes that seem somewhat similar as well.

Emergance of the Main Character’s Persona, Eva-01— err… Thanatos:

Instrumentality! (starting at 1:00)-

So why am I so excited about a game that I don’t even own the system for? Well….

I just got a PSP! It’s awesomeness. The games I got were Locoroco (soooooo much fun, and the music’s catchy), Patapon (kind of like Taiko + trying to keep a bunch of little things alive. Not great), and Star Ocean: First Departure (fairly standard RPG so far. Everyone has cat tails XD). I put some episodes of Nodame Cantobile onto it, and I’m utterly amused by the novelty of having portable dramas. I was going to get Crisis Core, but none of the stores near where I live had it, and I’m debating about getting Dissidia when it come out. What do you think? Should I get both? ^^

Edit: Awesomeness, I managed to find a Miku theme.

Today, as part of a belated birthday party, Pei and Aisha made me a really awesome dragon cake. It was really tastey~ It’s really pretty too! They worked really hard on it, and I truly appreciate it. This was one of the most heartfelt birthday gifts I’ve ever recieved, and I’m going to remember it for the rest of my life.

Unfortunately, due to my neglect, the cake got a little squashed on the way home. I had placed it on the seat beside me, thinking it would be safe. I was wrong. The bus stopped sharply at a red light, and the cake slid off of the seat, onto the floor. However, very luckily, Pei had saran-wrapped the cake quite thoroughly, saving my dragon from a bus-floory demise. I immediately apologized to Pei, but I don’t know if I’ll ever feel like any amount of apology will be enough.

So, as soon as I got home, I grabbed a butter knife and tried to reconstruct the damaged cake as much as I could. Since he lost a lot of icing, (I got kind of attached, so I did end up naming him) Yurichi was looking a little thin. Through careful distribution of what was left, I was able to return him to a somewhat decent state.

I really should’ve been more careful in the first place, and it never would’ve happened. Even worse, Pei was there to see it, after she and Aisha had put in so much time, effort, and love into making it. I know it’s probably not necessary, but I’ll be baking some thing/things, for a certain photoshoot, but also as a way to try to make up for my carelessness today. Please look forward to it/them~

Jeez, it’s been forever since I last made a post. Poor neglected blog…

There’s a game for the DS coming out sometime this year called Scribblenauts. Now, why would I make a post about some random DS game, after months of inactivity? Because it’s awesome!

In Scribblenauts, the object of the game is to go through a level, trying to obtain a “Starite.”  For example, there’s a Starite sitting in a tree, just above your reach. How do you get it? Do you build a ladder so that you can reach it? Or how about using a saw to cut the tree down, bringing the Starite with it? Or how about summoning God, riding a skateboard and using a shotgun, to fight the Cthulu, and letting the ensuing chaos knock it down? In Scribblenauts, that’s the kind of things you can do. Using a dictionary of around 10,000 words, you can summon anything to help you obtain the Starite (as long as it’s not copyrighted).

This game definitely looks like fun, with all of the different ways that you can solve puzzles. Look forward to it!

Today, Pei’s plans finally came to full fruition. We put the final touches on the box castle, and it was put to use. It was a full success!

The kids seemed to like it, as I had to literally sit in front of one of the doors, pretty much acting as castle troll/ security, only allowing one kid at a time. It was tiring fun, and there weren’t too many bad kids. Except Spiderman-shirt-kid. His rowdiness was pretty much the catalyst that caused all of the kids to decide to go into the castle all at once. Order was only restored when Ms. J (Volunteer cooridinator) did a full-room quiet-down. After that, though, they behaved better. Grr camp kids.

On Thursday, we have to deconstruct the castle(T_T), for a reason that I was unable to overhear. Hopefully my back will recover, in time, from imitating FF7 squats. After carrying a 20lb backpack for four years, squats are not a smart idea. At least I have something to tell my future son/daughter one day. “Don’t pretend you’re in a video game. You’ll only end up hurting yourself.” =_=

Wah~! It was so good! I love love stories, especially ones that end so happily! I can’t wait for the special that’s coming out soon! I hope both Rui and Yuki can find true love. @.@~

Now I’ll commit myself to actually finishing 1 Litre of Tears. I know I’m going to cry so much, and and there’s nothing I’ll be able to do about it. TT_TT

Oh, if you’re curious, this is where I’m getting my Dramas from:
http://www.silentregrets.com/home.php
It has all of the Dramas I’ve been recommended so far, so I think I’ll stick with it.

Edit: Grr… Megaupload is beginning to annoy me. Looks like I’ll have to download 1 Litre of Tears of the course of a couple days, and use multiple websites, since some of the episodes on Silent Regrets say something like “OLoT.avi.001, and won’t work. I’ll use D-Addicts for the rest.

I went to Liane’s birthday party yesterday! I only brought gummies for her as a gift because I didn’t know if the party was still on, so I didn’t have time to get a proper gift. TT_TT
The pool was so much fun, except when Dillian was wacking me in the face with a noodle. :/

I took a bunch of pictures with Rachael’s camera, a good number of which I’d like to have. Pei fell in the pool. Kind of. She sort of tripped and only got her socks and part of her pants wet. XD

I also passionately read Liane’s Yaoi manga out loud. All that heavy breathing left me light-headed. <_<
If anyone wants recommend a Yaoi that you’d wish to have voiced, I’ll record it and post it here. But I’ll have to wait until there’s nobody in the house, or else… yeah.

And my laptop came back today! It’s just as awesome and shiny as I remember it. I have so much stuff I have to catch up on. I think I’ll start with Hana Yori Dango, and go from there.

Fate must really be frowning upon me. After satisfying my parents demands of distributing enough resumes, I’ve finally been allowed back on the computer. But now, the mouse has decided to selectively stop working. It does work for a little while after startup, but then it just stops, neither the tracking nor the buttons work, but the laser still works. I think we need a new mouse. T-T

I went job hunting at the mall yesterday, and got there by bus. After my mostly unsuccessful hunt, I went home, again by bus. As the bus was nearing my stop, the driver noted that there was a dead cat near the stop, about three meters back from where I got off. I got off the bus, and stood and lokked at it for a little while. There were flies buzzing all around it, and it hadn’t been there when I left, so it couldn’t have been dead for more than two hours. It looked kind of like the stray cat that my mom feeds every day, so I feared the worst.
I started to feel a lump in the back of my throat, so I decided it would be best to leave before I got too emotional. I told my mom, and she seemed to be rather shaken by it. Luckily, our stray cat came around soon after. We’ve been feeding her for five years, so she’s essentially become our outside-cat.

It pisses me off that when you hit a dog with your car, you have to report it to the police. But if you hit a cat, you don’t have to do anything. And I doubt anyone did. I wonder if the cat’s owner is still wating for it to return home, not knowing what happened to the poor thing.
